Bhubaneswar: Two unidentified women were found near dead on the railway track at Kukudahada village, close to Kantabanji Railway Station in Balangir district, on Friday
The bodies were discovered in a mutilated state, sparking speculation about the cause of death.
As per reports, locals spotted the bodies early in the morning and informed the police, who retrieved the bodies and initiated an investigation. However, the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths remain unclear.
It is uncertain whether the women were murdered and dumped on the tracks or if they were killed in a train accident while attempting to cross the tracks. The police are questioning locals and investigating the incident.
