Subarnapur: A second-year +2 Science student of Charbhata Tribal Ashram School in Tarabha block of Subarnapur district died under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday, triggering an investigation by Tarabha police.
The deceased has been identified as Aryan Suna, who reportedly fell ill suddenly on the school premises. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where doctors examined him and declared him brought dead.
Following the incident, Tarabha police reached the hospital, seized the body, and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of death. Police officials stated that the actual reason behind the student’s death would be known only after completion of the probe.
Sources said there have been ongoing quarrels and internal disputes among students at the residential school, prompting police to look into possible internal factors as part of the investigation.
So far, no complaint has been lodged at the Tarabha police station in connection with the incident. The police have also not confirmed whether the student was subjected to any physical assault.
