Angul: Mystery shrouds the death of former Sarpanch Vibhuthi Bhushan Garnaik (62) of Jerang Dehuri Sahi Panchayat under Jharpada police limits in Odisha’s Angul district. His bruised body was recovered from outside his house on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, Garnaik, a local BJD leader, slept on the roof of his house on Monday night and his body was recovered with bruises on his head and legs this morning. Police suspect that he either died after falling from the roof or was pushed from the roof by someone. They have launched a probe into the incident to ascertain the reason behind his unnatural death.
