Mystery Surrounds Death Of Three Sisters In Ganjam

Ganjam: Three sisters have died mysteriously in the last three days while condition of their grandmother is critical at B Turubudi village under Digapahandi block of Ganjam district.

Reportedly, Preeti Reddy (7), Barsha Reddy (11) and Subhalaxmi Reddy (6) along with their grandmother Kasturi Reddy had gone to sleep after having dinner on December 25 night. At around 11.30 PM they complained of uneasiness and rushed to Community Health Centre (CHC), Digapahandi.

While Preeti died on the way, the remaining three were admitted at the CHC. They were further shifted to MKCG Medical College & Hospital in Berhampur as their condition worsened. It was after their condition turned stable, they returned back to their home.

However, their condition again turned critical and again rushed to CHC Digapahandi where Subhalaxmi breathed her last. Following it, Barsha and grandmother Kasturi were shifted to MKCG Medical College & Hospital where Barsha died while undergoing treatment.

While condition of Kasturi is still critical, the reason behind the death of the three sisters is yet to be ascertained.
