Cuttack: Crime Branch ADG Police, Arun Bothra met Justice JP Das on Saturday, in connection with the investigation into the murder of Health Minister Naba Kisore Das. Bothra who was camping in Jharsuguda since January 29, the fateful day, arrived in the city today morning and went to meet Justice Das in residence here at CDA.
Justice Das, a retired Judge of Orissa High Court, has been appointed the HC to monitor the ongoing probe into the Minister’s murder, being carried out by the Crime Branch. The investigation into the high-profile case has been on track so far, said Justice Das.
Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Justice Das said, “I have been asked to supervise the investigation. ADG Mr Bothra had come to brief me about the investigation so far and what more they have planned. I shared my thoughts on what else needs to be done. Discussions will continue further. I will surely go to the spot of crime.”
