Nabarangpur: The missing of four persons of Nabarangpur district after returning from a wedding feast in Chhattisgarh turned out to be a case of an accident.
During the investigation, it was found that their car had fallen into a well near Kanker in Chhattisgarh. Probe is underway to ascertain the cause of the accident.
The car was pulled out of the well and all four passengers were found dead. Their bodies were sent to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.
Reportedly, Sapan Sarkar of Dangariguda village in Nabarangpur district, his wife Rita Sarkar, her brother Biswajit Adhikari and a neighbour Hajari Dhali had gone to Kanker to attend a wedding feast.
While they had left Kanker at around 10.30 pm on December 10, they did not reach home. Family members had lodged a missing complaint in this regard.
