Nabarangpur: Cracking the whip against the ganja mafia, Nabarangpur police have seized/frozen illegally acquired property worth Rs 1.22 crore belonging to three accused persons under the provisions of the NDPS Act, said an official press release.
Nabarangpur police froze immovable and movable properties of Subash Bisoi, Ramachandra Bisoi and Subir Bisoi which include two buildings, one bullet and a cash balance of Rs 4,39,909, the release stated.
The trio who are residents of BS Padar village under Umerkote police limits of Nabarangpur district are accused of supplying ganja to the states of Delhi, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh through an illegal network.
They are involved in several cases under the NDPS Act, the release added.
