Nabarangpur Police Nabs 4 Accused In Connection With Murder For Business Rivalry

**Nabarangpur:** Nabarangpur Police on Wednesday arrested four persons in connection with the murder of Pradeep Agrawal of R K Colony on November 28, 2017. These accused killed Pradeep for a dispute between their groups relating to the transaction of contraband article ganja.

The four accused have been identified as Shaik Shamim, Shaik Sitab of Gadhabaguda, Rakesh Bhatra of Senapati Street and Raja alias Sujeet Panda of Jamal colony in the town.

Police seized weapon of offence, one blood stained sword from the place of concealment being produced by the accused Shaik Sitab. Police also seized one four wheeler and two two-wheelers.

One four wheeler (Duster car) vehicle has been seized which was used in ganja transaction.

Speaking to the media persons, Nabarangpur SP Suresh Kumar Bhamoo informed, “This case has the connection with the ganja business. These two groups have a rivalry for illegal ganja trading. As the business deal was not completed, they murdered the other group member.”

Bhamoo also informed, “Steps are also being taken to apprehend other accused in the case and investigation is on,”
