Bhubaneswar: You opened the shop of love in the market of hate (Nafrat ke Bazaar mein Mohabbat ki Dukan), Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi said while addressing a public meeting at Biramitrapur in Odisha as part of his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra which entered the State from Jharkhand.
On reaching at Biramitrapur in the afternoon, he was accorded a rousing welcome by the State leaders including PCC president Sarat Pattnayak, Odisha in-charge Dr Ajay Kumar, and other senior leaders and hundreds of party workers.
In a public meeting, Gandhi said, “I am feeling good to come to Odisha. You opened a shop of love in the market of hate (“Nafrat ke Bazaar mein Mohabbat ki Dukan). The main objective of this Yatra is to connect India. This journey has come out in protest against injustice against tribals, downtrodden, farmers and women. I will remain in Odisha for the next three days and interact with people.
He raised the issues of unemployment, price hike, privatization of government companies and social injustice.
The Wayanad MP will make night stay at Bijabahal. He will resume Yatra from tomorrow at 9.30 am. Rahul Gandhi will address the public at 10:00 am at Panposh road in Rourkela.
He will have lunch at Birsa Munda ground near Rani Bandha before resuming the journey.
Later, he will address a public rally at Kutra followed by another public address at Baragann. His Yatra will reach Sundergarh Bus stand at 4.30 and will proceed to Amalipali in Jharsuguda via Stadium chhak and SBI chhak in Sundergarh.
