Bhubaneswar: In a shameful incident, the naked body of a minor girl was found in Pathari forest under Paikamal police station in Bargarh district.
The five-year-old girl is suspected to have been murdered after rape. Police launched an investigation with a dog squad and scientific team.
Senior police officials visited the spot and supervised the investigation. The family members of the girl lodged a complaint in this regard, based on which the police registered a case.
A youth has been detained on suspicion of being involved in the crime.
