Bhubaneswar: The Nandankanan Zoological Park was shut down indefinitely in order to ensure the safety of visitors after the entry of two wild elephants into its premises.
Officials of Nandankanan and Chandaka Wildlife Division have been deployed to drive the elephants away.
The Zoological Park will remain closed until the wild elephants are safely removed. However, the Botanical Garden will remain open, informed Deputy Director Sanjeet Kumar.
