Bhubaneswar: Nandankanan Zoological Park celebrates the joyous arrival of a tiger cub, born to proud mother Ankita, marking a significant addition to the zoo’s tiger population.

As per reports, the tigress Ankita has given birth to her third cub, thanks to the zoo’s successful breeding programme. To keep the cub safe, zoo authorities are taking extra care and watching over it closely.

The zoo authorities had recently brought in a male Royal Bengal tiger named Saif, which has helped in the successful birth of the cub, a development that is great news for the zoo and for tiger conservation.

With the arrival of the new cub, the tiger population at Nandankanan Zoo has increased to 28.
