Naveen Patnaik Addresses Pipili Constituents On Virtual Mode

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik today addressed the people of poll-bound Pipili assembly constituency on virtual mode.

Speaking to the constituents, Naveen said, the region of Pipili-Delang has a glorious history with the footprints of Mahatma Gandhi. The Father of the Nation stayed in Beraboi Ashram for eight days. “The art and artisans of this region are globally famous. I salute this land,” Naveen said.

Naveen said it was due to COVID restrictions he is not able to meet the people of Pipili personally. “I know you all love me a lot. Had I been to Pipili, you all would have turned up in large numbers to bless me. I do not want that any one of you is pushed to danger for me. Therefore, I came before you through video conferencing.”

Be it the farmers’ issue of the welfare of the poor, Odisha has made a mark for itself in the National sphere. Today, the mothers of Odisha are leading projects under Mission Shakti, which is a major achievement in the direction of women empowerment, Naveen said.

“I request you all to vote for the ‘Shankh’ (conch) symbol in large numbers,” he added. The Chief Minister said he would personally look after the development works of Pipili-Delang region.

The Chief Minister cautioned the people to be very careful about the spread of coronavirus. “The second wave of COVID-19 has hit. We all must ensure to put on masks while moving out of homes,” he said.
