Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, expressed immense pleasure over the state’s remarkable achievement of recording the highest retention rate among students enrolled under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
Naveen Patnaik took to his X handle to share that Odisha has recorded the highest retention rate among students enrolled under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, achieving an impressive score of 97%. He attributed this success to the state’s effective implementation strategy and dedication to providing quality education.
Taking to his X handle, he wrote: “Glad to share that #Odisha has recorded highest retention rate among students of four states enrolled under the Right to Education (RTE) Act during 2023-24. As per the Right to Education Retention Report published by Indus Action, Odisha has achieved an impressive score of 97% with effective implementation strategy and dedication to ensure that children from disadvantaged backgrounds gain access to quality education and continue their academic journey.”
He further wrote: “Under our #5T initiative, we have transformed about 7000 government schools to open new horizons for students. We always believed that #NewOdisha will be built by empowering every child with quality education. Thank all the teachers, parents, administrators and support staff for their dedication to ensure brighter future for our students.”
