Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday thanked Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for operating a direct Air India flight from Bhubaneswar to Surat.

The response came after the Ministry of Civil Aviation gave a positive nod to commence the direct flight. The flight operation will start from January 1, 2020 and will run three days a week with an aim to promote business and tourism.
