Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to visit Sambalpur district tomorrow.
The Chief Minister will distribute new Smart Health Cards under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) at Kuchinda in Sambalpur district.
A total of 2,28,213 beneficiaries in the district will get the smart health cards under this scheme in Sambalpur district.
While each family is entitled to avail healthcare benefits up to Rs 5 lakh, women are entitled to healthcare benefits up to Rs 10 lakh under the scheme.
Beneficiaries can avail healthcare benefits in hospitals in the State and in over 200 hospitals outside the State using the smart health card.
The Chief Minister’s programme to the district includes inauguration and foundation stone laying of projects worth over Rs 700 crore.
Preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit to Kuchinda are in the final stages, reports said.
Labour Minister Sushant Singh is overseeing the preparations for the CM’s visit, reports added.
After Malkangiri, Sundargarh, Gajapati, Balangir, Puri, Deogarh, and Mayurbhanj, it is now the turn of Sambalpur for distribution of smart health cards.
