Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today campaigned for party candidates in four Assembly constituencies under two Lok Sabha segments- Dhenkanal and Sambalpur.
While launching a scathing attack on Opposition parties, Patnaik urged the public to expose the lies of the opposition and vote for ‘Sankha Chinha’. Senior leader Karthik Pandian who accompanied the CM in all public meetings, also lambasted the opposition seeking blessings of people for BJD candidates.
The BJD president made his super show in Sambalpur and Dhenkanal Lok Sabha segments where the CM received unrelenting love from the public.
The Chief Minister sought blessings of people for party nominees first in Sambalpur, then Rairakhol, Angul and Dhenkanal. Addressing huge public gatherings in separate places, he directly took feedback from the people about the benefits of the State government’s schemes. The rally venues reverberated with BJD-Zindabad and Naveen Patnaik Zindabad slogans.
Patnaik appealed to people to vote for the Sambalpur MP candidate Pranab Prakash Das and Dhenkanal MP candidate Abinash Samal and all the MLA candidates.
In his short speech, the Chief Minister criticized the opposition for shedding crocodile tears. He received feedback from the public regarding BSKY, Mamaata Yojana, Mission Shakti, LAccMI bus, 5T school transformation, KALIA scheme, Madhubabu Pension Yojana and students’ scholarship.
Reiterating his promises, Patnaik said that people will get free electricity from July. He also promised to make special package for Kendu leaf pluckers.
In Sambalpur, the CM highlighted the Samalei projects and Puri Srimandir Parikrama project
Patnaik also criticised Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over Mahanadi water issues.
