Bhubaneswar: Recently during his trip to Europe and the Middle East, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik spent quality time at Italy’s Capital Rome.
Naveen, a writer himself, has a penchant for ancient art and culture. While he was taken around Rome by an art historian-cum-guide, the latter was left bemused with Naveen’s knowledge on the subject.
He said, “I am an art historial and I work as a guide for clients in Rome. Its been an honour to take your Minister around. He is an incredibly educated man.”
“The level of knowledge and understanding he has of ancient Rome and rennaisance culture is astounding. I do not think I have ever encountered it in a client,” the Art Historian added.
Secretary to CM (5T), VK Pandian who accompanied Naveen on the visit, shared a short video related to this, on his official Instagram account.
Pandian’s short note along with the video read: “Study the past if u want to define the future because there are a great many tales history can tell. Leaving many historians spellbound with his vast knowledge of the subject @naveen_odisha.”
