Nayagarh’s Child Yoga Prodigy Priya Features On Asia Book Of Records

Nayagarh: Priya, a three-and-a-half-year-old child of Rajsunakhala has made it to the Asia Book of Records and also the India Book of Records for her Yoga.

The kid can perform the most difficult yoga asanas with ease. Her talent was recently recognised by the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records.

Priya and her parents are delighted with the double achievement. “Yoga has been my daughter’s passion since she was an infant. From the age of 1, she showed interest in yoga asanas,” said Priya’s father Bijaya Nayak.

Priya’s mother said her talent is God-gifted. “When she was very young, her father used to massage her with oil. Her body is very flexible which helps her perform yoga very easily.”

The people of Rajsunakhala said Priya is the pride of the region. Given an opportunity at national and international levels, she will excel in future. Priya is popular in her village as the ‘Spring Girl’, because of the flexibility of her body and grip over yoga.
