Bhubaneswar: The National Commission for Women (NCW) is set to hold a public hearing, “Mahila Jan Sunwai,” at the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) office on Tuesday.
The event, chaired by the NCW Chairperson Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, aims to address pending complaints and receive new ones from women in the area.

Pending cases from 2022 to 2024 in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack will be reviewed during the hearing. The NCW has urged the public to participate in large numbers and has requested the Odisha police to provide necessary support for the event.
The Commission has also requested the Odisha DGP to issue directions to concerned authorities to coordinate with district authorities for the smooth conduct of the public hearing.
