Nepali Youth Dies While Training For OSAP Recruitment In Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: A youth from Nepal died while practicing at the Jharsuguda Reserve Police Ground on Sunday, ahead of the Odisha Special Armed Police (OSAP) recruitment scheduled for next week.

The deceased has been identified as Govind Kumar, a native of Nepal. He had been preparing for the upcoming physical test for the OSAP 2nd Battalion recruitment, which is slated to take place on September 17, 2025.

According to reports, Kumar collapsed on the field during physical training. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Preliminary medical reports indicate that the cause of death was a heart attack.
