Bhubaneswar: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a poignant sand sculpture on Puri Beach to pay tribute to the victims of the recent Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. The sculpture carries the powerful message “Never Again,” serving as a collective plea for safer skies and honouring the innocent lives lost in the tragedy.

The artwork features symbolic elements representing flight and loss, reminding viewers of the profound human cost of aviation disasters. The tribute has drawn significant attention from tourists and local residents, who gathered at the site to offer prayers and condolences.

Sudarsan Pattnaik said, “Art can speak when words fail. This is not only a tribute but also a message to all — such tragic loss must never be repeated.” The sand art stands as a memorial and a call for reflection, responsibility, and collective compassion in the face of tragedy.
