New Building Of Kutra Police Station In Sundergarh Inaugurated By DGP

Bhubaneswar:  The new building of Kutra police station in Sundergarh district was inaugurated by DGP Abhay on Wednesday. It is also a child friendly police station which goes with the vision of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to ensure that police stations are better equipped to cater to the needs of children.

While Abhay inaugurated the Kutra police station over video conference from State Police Headquarters in Cuttack, DIG Western Range JN Pankaj and Sundergarh SP Sagarika Nath were present at Kutra on the inaugural ceremony.

Kutra police station will be manned with 1 Inspector, 1 Sub-Inspector, 6 Assistant SIs, 1 Havildar, 8 Constables and 7 Constables from the OAPF.

Among others, Project Manager, OPHWC, Sambalpur Division and other senior Police Officers were present on the occasion. The new building boasts of aesthetically designed walls, library equipped with children books and internet facility to have better education opportunities.
