Bhubaneswar: Senior lawyer Pitambar Acharya, who assumed office as the Advocate General of Odisha on Monday, called on Chief Minister Mohan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan on Monday.
CM Majhi congratulated Acharya for his new role and wished him success. The CM expressed his confidence that Acharya’s expertise and guidance would be beneficial in protecting the state’s interests in legal issues.
Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan was also present during Acharya’s visit.
Senior lawyer Pitambar Acharya assumed the office of Advocate General of Odisha on Monday. He was appointed as the Advocate General of Odisha by the state government on Friday.
Law Department has recently issued a formal notification confirming his position as the new Advocate General.
Acharya expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for entrusting him with this esteemed constitutional position.
