Bhubaneswar: The one-day visit of Union Minister for Transport Nitin Gadkari to Odisha on Thursday has been called off without citing any reason.
Gadkari was scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation of 28 National Highway projects worth Rs 6,600 crore in Odisha on Thursday. Though the minister’s visit to the state has been cancelled, his office informed on X that Gadkari will inaugurate and lay the foundation of the projects at 12.30 pm via video-conferencing.
Earlier, the minister was scheduled to arrive at Bhubaneswar at around 11.00 am and also visit Puri Srimandir to seek the blessings of the Holy Trinity.
