Puri: A team of the National Monument Authority (NMA) led by its Chairman Kishor K Basa arrived here on a visit today.
The team will be conducting a review of whether NMA’s recommendations vis-a-vis the Shri Mandir Parikrama project (Puri Heritage Corridor project) have been complied with or not.
The NMA team which has come to Puri on the State government’s invitation to review the Shri Mandir Parikrama project will discuss the progress of the project in detail with officers of the Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA).
Sources in the know of things said that issue of NMA seeking a fresh detailed project report (DPR) restricting the height of the SJTA building to 7.5 mtr and the SJTA seeking a review of the former’s restriction and enhancing it to 13 mtr is likely to be discussed.
The NMA seeking fresh DPR for construction of the Shree Jagannatha Reception Centre outside the 100.5 mtr restricted zone is also likely to come up for discussion, the sources added.
