NMC Approves 100 MBBS Seats For Govt Medical College, Bhawanipatna

Bhubaneswar: In another significant step towards health science education in Odisha, the National Medical Commission (NMC), the regulatory body of medical education and profession approved the opening of the Government Medical College at Bhawanipatana of Kalahandi district.

Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Shalini Pandit said that this could be possible because of the visionary leadership of our Chief Minister, and the institution would fulfil the long-standing aspirations of the people of Odisha.

She added, the College would have 100 intake capacity in MBBS from the academic session 2023-24.
