Bhubaneswar: Not a single case of confirmed COVID-19 case has been reported in the State in the last 48 hours as the reports of all the 76 samples sent for test were found negative, informed Chief Spokesperson of Odisha Government on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi on Sunday.
The two COVID-19 positive patients in Odisha are admitted at Capital Hospital and AIIMS respectively and their condition is stable.
Communication has been made with 53 persons out of the 56 persons who had reportedly in contact with one of the patient. Nine monitoring teams are working to establish communication with the remaining three.
Bagchi further informed that as many as 3474 persons have been registered through 104 Helpline and 28 persons are in Hospital Isolation.
Giving the global statistics, Bagchi informed that presently the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has spread to 188 countries with 3,08,564 confirmed cases. In India, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has increased to 332 with no reports of fresh deaths.
