Koraput: No interference will be tolerated in the implementation of the drinking water project in Kotia panchayat of Koraput district, said Collector & District Magistrate Abdaal M. Akhtar on Friday.
His response came after the drinking water project in Neredibalsa village under Kotia panchayat was shut down by the Andhra Pradesh government officials on Thursday. The officials were found disrupting the construction work.
Akhtar said that Odisha Government is committed to completing the project on time. No interference will be tolerated and drinking water will be provided in each and every household under Kotia panchayat.
