Bhubaneswar: Though many places in Odisha are reeling below 10C, the night temperature would rise slightly in most places during the next few days, bringing some respite from the cold wave.
Dry weather prevailed over the districts of Odisha, while moderate fog occurred at one or two places over Cuttack and north coastal Odisha, the IMD said in a release on Wednesday.
There was no change in minimum temperatures recorded in all districts of Odisha. The minimum temperature was below normal at a few places over the districts in interior Odisha, many places over coastal Odisha, and at a few places over the districts in internal Odisha.
Boudh recorded the highest maximum temperature of 32.0°C while the lowest minimum temperature of 6.5°C was recorded at Phulbani.
According to the IMD, the minimum temperature (night temperature) was very likely to rise by 2°C to 3°C during the next two days. Otherwise, there would be no major change in temperature at many places over Odisha.

Bhubaneswar and adjoining regions would experience fog/mist in the morning and mainly clear sky later. The maximum and minimum temperatures in and around the capital city are likely to be around 30°C and 15°C respectively.
