Bhubaneswar: The sweltering heat has continued this week with no sign of relief during the daytime. On Tuesday, at least 18 places in Odisha recorded temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius or above. The hottest place in the State today was Sonepur where the maximum temperature was 44.5 degrees.
Similarly, four stations – Sambalpur, Bolangir, Titilagarh, and Sonepur recorded temperatures above 43 degrees. The maximum temperature at Bhubaneswar was 38 degrees while Cuttack recorded 39.4 degrees. As experienced over the last few days, the humidity level in Twin City was unbearable.
