**Bhubaneswar:** After severe heatwave conditions in the most places of Odisha, people will have sigh of relief from it. Bhubaneswar Meteorological Department Director Sarat Sahu on Saturday predicted that Nor’wester rain is likely to occur in several parts of coastal, north and south Odisha.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, he said, “Nor’wester rain is likely to occur in some places of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj , Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, jharsuguda, Sambalpur Deogarh in North Odisha and Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, in South Odisha.”
The release of IMD warned, “Thunder squall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur at one or two places over the south Odisha districts and also Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Balasore, Sambalpur and Deogarh.”
