Notorious Criminal Shot Dead By Miscreants In Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, notorious criminal was shot dead near Patharpalli village in Kabisuryanagar police station area of Ganjam district.

The police have launched an investigation into the murder, which is believed to be a result of previous enmity.

The deceased has been identified as Laxminarayan Paikarai, alias Kuna,

According to reports, Kuna was returning to his village, Athagarhpatna, on a bike when he was shot in the head near a chicken farm in Patharpalli. The police have taken custody of the body, which has been sent to Kabisuryanagar hospital for post-mortem examination.

Kuna had a long history of criminal activities, with several cases registered against him at the local police station. However, it is reported that he had been attempting to reform and join the mainstream.

The police are investigating the motive behind the murder, but suspect that it may be linked to his past criminal activities
