Bhubaneswar: The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Thursday predicted that light to moderate rain/thundershower is likely to affect some parts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Jagatsingpur, Malkangiri and Korapur districts of Odisha within the next three hours.
Water logging in low-lying areas, occasionally poor visibility, and traffic disruption in urban areas is likely. People have been advised to avoid movement in affected areas and make arrangements for drainage of excess water.
