Nuapada By-Election Sees High Voter Turnout Of 77.93%

Bhubaneswar: The Nuapada Assembly constituency by-election witnessed a significant voter turnout of 77.93% as of 7 pm, according to the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha. The polling, which began at 7 am, concluded peacefully, with voters casting their ballots in large numbers.

The Election Commission had put in place robust security arrangements, with 14 companies of central armed police forces deployed across the constituency, to ensure a smooth and peaceful voting process.

All EVMs have been deposited in strong rooms with round-the-clock tightened security.

The results of the bye-election are expected to be declared on November 14.
