Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a list of star campaigners for the upcoming Nuapada assembly by-election. A total of 40 prominent leaders will campaign for the party in this crucial electoral contest.
The list of star campaigners includes Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Other notable leaders who will campaign for the party include Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram, and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
The list also includes BJP Odisha President Manmohan Samal, MP Baijayant Panda, Deputy CMs Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, and other senior party leaders. The party has also included several leaders from Chhattisgarh in the list, such as Arun Sao, Brijmohan Agrawal, and Rupkumari Choudhary.
It is pertinent to mention that the Nuapada by-election is scheduled to be held on November 11, with counting on November 14. The BJP has fielded Jay Dholakia, son of late BJD MLA Rajendra Dholakia, as its candidate for the by-poll.
The party is likely to leave no stone unturned to win the election, with its star campaigners expected to play a crucial role in mobilizing voters and garnering support for the party’s candidate.
