Bhubaneswar: Over 400 nursing, pharmacy, and allied medical students on Wednesday met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his residence — Naveen Niwas, and expressed their gratitude for increasing their stipend.
Apart from wishing the Chief Minister a happy new year they wished him good health and long life.
The Chief Minister told them that they should study well, take good training and serve the people. He said that patient care makes a difference in life.
Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha VK Pandian said that during his visit to the districts, he visited various health education institutions and received requests from the students for increasing the stipend. “The Chief Minister has fulfilled your request immediately. So you should serve the people with your heart,” Pandian said.
It is worth mentioning here that the Chief Minister on January 3 increased the stipend of the students taking training in Nursing, D.Pharma, A.N.M., Clinical Psychology etc.
