Bhubaneswar: With just four days left for the highly-anticipated India-England one-day match at the Barbati Stadium, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) is leaving no stone unturned to make the event a grand success.
In a first, the OCA has arranged a legendary lounge for renowned personalities from the state to watch the match. The exclusive pavilion will host 30 esteemed guests, including Padma Award winners Haldhar Nag, Jitendra Haripal, Pratibha Satpathy, Sudarshan Patnaik, Aruna Mohanty, and Sudarshan Sahu.
Tickets for the match will be sold online, followed by sales to OCA-affiliated organizations, and finally at the stadium counter from tomorrow. The ticket sales will continue for two days, with extensive security arrangements made by the Commissionerate Police to maintain peace and order.
A total of 17 platoons of force have been deployed to ensure a smooth ticket-purchasing experience for fans. The counter will open at 9 am, and fans are advised to arrive early to avoid any inconvenience.
The India-England match is scheduled to take place on next Sunday, and the OCA is geared up to provide a world-class experience for players, officials, and spectators.
