Sundargarh: An elderly man was brought to a polling station on a cot to help him cast a vote in the second phase of the panchayat elections at Dahijira village in Kutra block of Sundargarh district on Friday.
Reportedly, 85-year-old Ishapal Gudia has been bed-ridden due to old age. As he expressed his eagerness to cast a vote in the panchayat polls, some villagers and the Booth Level Officer brought him to the booth on a cot.
