Bhubaneswar: Popular teleserial and album actor Satyajit Purohit died of a cardiac arrest on Tuesday. He was 35 years old.
Reportedly, he was at his native place Kantabanji in Balangir district when he complained of chest pain on Tuesday morning.
He was immediately rushed to Kantabanji hospital from where he was shifted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital, Balangir, where the doctor declared him dead.
Purohit had acted in over 40 Sambalpuri and Odia music albums. He was popular for his lead role in the TV serial ‘Pari’.
