Cuttack: The Chauliaganj Police today affixed a 'Latka' (proclamation notice) on deceased TV serial actress Laxmipriya Behera aka Nikita's in-laws house after they failed to depose before the police despite several notices.

Cuttack DCP Akhileswar Singh had today informed that Nikita's in-laws had not adhered to the notices sent to them earlier. Police had also visited their house but the notice could not be served as they are absconding. Therefore the proclamation notice will be affixed at their house today.

Nikita’s husband Lipan Sahu had been arrested earlier on charges of her murder, based on a complaint lodged by her father Sanatan Behera, who had alleged that Lipan had forcefully pushed Nikita off the terrace following an argument.
