Khordha: In a matter of pride for Odisha, Odia girl Sonali Sahu will be commanding the Girls’ contingent of the NCC in the Republic Day parade to be held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi.
Sahu, a student of Psychology (Honours) at the PN College here has been selected to lead the 148 member Girls’ contingent at the Republic Day parade.
She hails from Gurujanga village of Khordha district. A total of eight girl cadets including Sahu from the NCC Directorate in Odisha are part of the 148 member Girls’ contingent.
Speaking to Ommcom News, Sahu said, “It’s my privilege to lead the Girls’ contingent at Kartavya Path. I give the credit of my achievement to my parents, friends, family members and especially to my college’s NCC teacher Lt Col Bikash Mandal”.
