**Bhubaneswar:** Senior IPS officer Satya Narayan Pradhan has been appointed as the Director General (DG) of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
Pradhan, a native of Odisha is a 1988 Jharkhand-cadre IPS officer. He was serving as the Joint Secretary in of the Union Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region.
