Bhubaneswar: Till May 23rd midnight, more than 1.23 lakh samples were tested out of which 1,335 positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Odisha.
So far, 550 COVID-19 cases have recovered / discharged while seven persons lost their lives in the State. Currently, the ? number of active cases is 778. In different locations of the State, total 1,042 persons are in hospital isolation, the Government informed.
“72 Doctors from 8 districts across the State successfully completed COVID-19 critical care training which was conducted at SCB Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack,” a press note issued by the State Government read.
Odia people are returning to the State every day since 3rd May. So far 2,55,404 Odias have returned to Odisha. 16,586 Temporary Medical Centres/Camps are functional in 6,798 Gram Panchayats of the State.
“In all these Centres, total 7,29,095 beds have been arranged to provide COVID-19 health services in rural areas.”
