Odisha: 23 Out Of 29 New COVID-19 Cases In Bhubaneswar Are Below 40 Years

Bhubaneswar: With 29 new cases of COVID-19 detected today in Bhubaneswar, the total number of cases in the Capital City traced so far has moved up to 479. Out of these, 277 patients have recovered while the number of active cases remains 195. Six persons have died because of novel coronavirus in Bhubaneswar.

23 out of the new cases detected today in Bhubaneswar are people aged below 40 years. Similarly, 11 out of the 29 COVID-19 positives are below 30 years in age.

Out of the new cases detected on Tuesday, 14 are local contacts while as many number of cases are those in home quarantine, a report released by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation informed. A 34-year-old employee of a COVID hospital in the city has also been affected by the disease.

Three persons recovered from COVID-19 today in the city. They are from Sailashree Vihar (65 years old), Nayapalli (41 years old) and Forest Park (36 years old) areas.
