Odisha: 4 Killed In Lightning Strikes In Separate Places

Koraput: At least four persons were killed in lightning strikes in two separate incidents in Odisha today.

According to reports, Lingaraj Halba and his wife Durubati Halba and their son Deepak Halba were working in their farmland in Anchala village under Borigumma block in Koraput.

Suddenly, it started to rain with lightning, while Lingaraj managed to move to a safe place, his wife Durubati and their son Deepak fell unconscious after being struck by lightning on the field.

Durubati and Deepak were rushed to the nearest hospital, however, they were declared dead by the attending doctors.

In another incident, two others were killed in a lightning strike in Nalco police limits of Angul district.
