Bhubaneswar: Six persons, including a newborn baby were rescued on Friday after they were marooned in Bari area of Jajpur district.
The fire service personnel of Bari undertook the rescue operation. The official Twitter handle of Odisha Fire Services shared the visuals and also lauded the efforts.

Besides, Chandikhol Fire Station team have rescued 82 persons from several villages under Charinangal gram panchayat in Badachana block of the district.
The rescued persons include a pregnant lady of Amirmahala village. The rescue teams comprised of nine personnel with two powerboats.
Several teams of Odisha Fire Service have been deployed across the State for rescuing the marooned people and cattle to safer places.
