Odisha: 8-Month-Old Jumbo Unwell In Dhenkanal, Forest Officials Come To Rescue

**Dhenkanal:** The jumbo population is in danger in the State with many falling unwell, being poached for tusks or becoming victims of train mishaps. For this, the forest officials have tightened their belts and have come to the rescue of an unwell 8-month-old jumbo that was found battling with life in Hitinda forest area in Hindol area here late last night.

Forest official Sudarshan Patra, Assistant Conservator of Forest Jitendra Nath Das, Ranger Madhusdan Patra, and Forester Bikram Sethi rushed to the spot as soon as they received information about the unwell jumbo.

After rescuing it, the forest officials administered first-aid and then transported it to a veterinary hospital in Bhubaneswar for further treatment.
