The plasma therapy was initiated from Covid section of the SCB hospital in Cuttack from July 16. It was then conducted in other Covid hospitals including that of State Capital Bhubaneswar.
With this, Odisha had become the third State after Delhi and Maharashtra to have introduced convalescent plasma therapy for the treatment of serious COVID-19 patients.
