Bhubaneswar: Advisor of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS), Bijaya Kumar Sahoo today visited Jajpur district and reviewed the progress and status of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs) there.
OAVS is an endeavour to nurture its students in becoming well-rounded citizens with the focus to see that each and every child of the school gathers the right set of knowledge and skills in an amicable environment. The vision of OAVS is reaching out and provide quality education to each deserving child from across Odisha with the mission to make OAV a role model for the country.
“We should constantly remind ourselves the vision and mission of OAVS and make effort accordingly as a team to achieve our goal through the mandated Objectives,” said Sahoo at the review meeting today.
Chakravarty Singh Rathod, Collector of Jajpur along with other officials attended the meeting and discussed all issues related to OAVs in the district.
Lingraj Panda, State Project Coordinator, OAVS along with OSD, Academics , Asst Engineer, OAVS , OSD to Adviser, DEO Jajpur visited construction site of OAV, Darpan, Badachana, OAV, Deulipal, Dharmasala, OAV, Mallikapur, Dasrathpur, OAV, Jamdhar, Jajpur under Jajpur district.
The review committee too met Collector, Jajpur, sharing the observed insights on the progress of the work.
Sahoo addressed the students present, in the most inspiring manner while touching upon how one can approach exams to be able to score more than 90%.
Sahoo spoke to the students, to be sincere, keep clear goals in mind and study hard, give their very best post-pandemic.
“As we live in the new normal, for students their only job is to study well, without being affected with the current situation. As time will roll past, academic year should not be affected, rather one must focus even more to make sure all students would advance victoriously into the future,” Sahoo said.
He also gave valuable advice on how more schools can secure more than 90%. He also stressed upon all the precautionary measures that we must bear in mind at all times to fight back Corona, courageously.
At the beginning of the year, out of the ten blocks in Jajpur, six schools have their own infrastructure and are fully functional; development work for two schools has already been undertaken. Shortly work will commence in two other schools.
The physical review meeting was also done in presence of Executive Engineer Works and RD for completion of all pending jobs.
The DEO and all BEOs were present too, taking special interest in OAV activities.
